PERA-PRINZ® Hygienic screw pumps for Food and Pharmaceutical industry. Each pump can be customized for a specific application allowing the customer to be served in an optimal way. Several Screws Profiles and several materials available allow them to be optimized for each particular application.
The Screws Pair rotates inside the Pump Enclosure, creating several separate chambers and pushing the fluid trapped inside in accordance with the progression of the screws pitch.
The flow rate is particularly uniform and pulsation-free, and the pumped fluid flows in an axial direction (not circumferentially, as it happens in the centrifugal pumps)
The result of the screws rotation is a gentle movement of the displaced volume, in not turbulent conditions, making it ideal for handling shear-sensitive fluids or liquids easily subject to emulsification.
Compared to the more traditional positive displacement pumps, this type has the advantage of absolutely no pulses and better flow repetition. It has good suction capacity. Its only limitation is that cannot be used for fluids with suspended solids. Our gear pumps are used for transferring normal viscosity fluids as well as very viscous products.
These pumps are Positive Displacement Pumps for the transfer of fluids with a wide range of viscosities and are wear-compensating. They are Self Priming and have an High Suction Lift. Their impeller rotates eccentrically to the pump internal body. The fluid that is enclosed between the impeller, the vanes and the body, is pumped forward.
Thanks to the self-adjustment feature of the vanes, wear out is compensated, increasing the pump lifetime. 3P Prinz CN Series Pumps are designed and made with special technical and patented innovations, in order to make them more performing in areas with special installation requirements, where maintenance must be kept at its minimum. The careful selection of the material of the Vanes allow a very low friction and minimal wear-out. Generally Rotary Vane pumps series are supplied with motor or moto-variator and mounted on a suitable skid. Rotary Vane Pumps are ideal for pumping low viscosity and volatile, light fluids, however the same pump can be used also for pumping liquids with higher viscosity.
The Pump Body and Rotor are made of Cast Iron and the Vanes are self-lubricating. A range of Mechanical Seals is available for fitting many applications and fluids. The Power Consumption of these Pumps is lower than other Positive Displacement Pumps, thanks to its high speed and light construction.
These pumps, with two impellers, allow a reduced size of the piping, valves, fittings etc. while keeping an high flow rate: they create a continuous flow in the piping, avoiding vibrations and shaking of the structure.
The electrical motor is generally coupled directly to the pump in which, into its casing, an oil filled reduction gear is assembled.
The hollow disk D series, during its rotary-oscillating motion, causes a vacuum sucking the fluid inside the pump; in the meantime it pushes the fluid already present in the chamber to the downstream pipe. Because of their particular features, 3P Prinz hollow disk pumps are indicated for pumping liquids with low, medium, high or very high viscosity even in presence of moderate contents of solid particles in suspension.
